A stealth-stage tech venture is seeking a founding full-stack developer to help architect and launch a platform that empowers individuals to monetize and control their data. What You’ll Do

• Build backend services and APIs to support scalable, distributed systems
• Design and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Make key architectural decisions around scalability, reliability, and security
• Set up engineering workflows including testing, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring
• Work across the full stack—from user interfaces to backend logic and infrastructure
• Collaborate closely with the founding team on product strategy and user feedback
• Own projects end-to-end, balancing speed and technical rigor

What You Bring

• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience (early-stage or high-growth environments preferred)
• Backend experience with one or more of:
  • Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript)
  • Spring Boot (Java/Kotlin)
  • Go
• Proven experience deploying and operating production systems in the cloud
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, fault tolerance, and scaling
• A builder’s mindset: proactive, resourceful, and comfortable with ownership
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
• React Native experience is a major plus

Bonus Points

• Experience with GraphQL or other modern API frameworks
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation
• Background in performance tuning and observability for live systems

Compensation

• Base Salary: Up to $200,000
