Ruli is your AI teammate that turbocharges legal operations. Ruli handles legal intake, answers team’s FAQs, automates legal review and assists with research and drafting. We focus on an AI-first, human-intuitive design approach to seamlessly advance legal teams.

We are building an AI agent to reimagine enterprise legal operations, addressing a $300 billion market that has been underserved for decades. We’re looking for a Director, Business Development **** our first GTM hire! The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter, first-principles thinker, who can work collaboratively and independently to drive our sales and GTM efforts. You can bring products to life and speak the language of legal & compliance professionals. You’ll be a leader in the future of AI SaaS.

As our Full-Stack Founding Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product and technology stack. You will work closely with our CTO to design, develop, and deploy scalable applications that will drive our business forward. Your expertise in Next.js, React, and full-stack development will be crucial as you take ownership of key features and functionality. Experience with AI technologies is a big plus and will position you as a leader in integrating cutting-edge innovations into our product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the CTO to design, develop, and deploy scalable full-stack applications.
• Take ownership of building and maintaining key product features using Next.js and React.
• Address and manage the growing user demand backlog, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Integrate AI technologies into the tech stack, enhancing product functionality and user experience.
• Work in a hybrid environment, meeting regularly with the CTO in San Francisco for brainstorming, problem-solving, and strategic planning.
• Contribute to the overall product vision and strategy as a founding team member.
• Ensure code quality, best practices, and maintainability across the stack.

Qualifications

• Experience: 4+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer, with a proven track record in building and deploying web applications.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Next.js and React is required.
• AI Integration: Experience with AI technologies is highly desirable.
• Startup Mindset: Self-starter with a passion for startups, eager to take ownership and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Location: Based in the San Francisco Bay Area with the ability to work in a hybrid setup, meeting regularly with the CTO.
• Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a small, agile team.
