We are a looking for a Founding Software Engineer to join a mission-driven fintech team backed by top early-stage investors (including Unusual Ventures) and led by experienced founders from institutions like JPMorgan and McKinsey. We recently won a major industry award and are already partnered with over a dozen financial institutions up to $\$200 \text{B}+$ in assets. We value building with empathy, taking ownership without ego, and maintaining a focus on sustainable intensity.

Responsibilities:

• Own the full product lifecycle from design review through deployment.
• Build the core product from scratch using modern patterns in React, TypeScript, and a Meta-framework (Next.js, Remix, etc.), with a quick adoption of TanStack Start.
• Implement robust server-state & caching strategies (TanStack/React Query) and ensure high performance (Core Web Vitals).
• Develop product-quality UI with responsive layouts, strong a11y, and tidy component systems (Tailwind, Radix/shadcn a plus).

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience with React + TypeScript and clean component architecture.
• Required experience with a Meta-framework (SSR/streaming, routing, data loading).
• Deep expertise in server-state management and caching.

Nice to Have:

• TanStack ecosystem experience (Router/Query/Start) or Vite/Nitro.
• Figma translation skills and design system maintenance.
