Foundry Manager - Metal Manufacturing - Base Salary to 140k/year - Knoxville, TN

• Our client is an industry leading iron foundry as well as steel fabrication plant that manufactures residential cast iron accessories used in fireplaces. The team is currently seeking a Foundry Manager.
  
• The Foundry Manager will oversee the foundry operations including: production, maintenance, quality, receiving, and safety to ensure quality products while maintaining the best practices and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversight of entire foundry operations
  
• Coordinate schedules and activities for shift Foreman
  
• Evaluate daily production to ensure quality
  
• Inventory management for raw materials
  
• Assist with process improvements relating to new methodology, techniques, machinery use, etc
  
• Mentor and train all employees

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field
  
• 5+ years working in gray iron foundry
  
• 3+ years of previous management experience overseeing multiple shifts
  
• Robust background in foundry operations: metallurgy, melting, molding, etc
  
• Hands on experience operating coreless induction furnace is a plus
  
• Familiar with safety standards in the industry

Compensation:

• Our client is offering a base salary up to 140k/year plus a comprehensive benefits package. The team will also assist with relocation to get you to the greater Knoxville, TN area.
