Produce air-set molds that determine final casting shapes

Operate key equipment: fork truck, Palmer Mixers, mold release sprayers, overhead/jib cranes, propane torch

Maintain clean, organized work area

Work mandatory overtime as needed

Follow safety protocols and wear required protective equipment

Step C (90-day probation):

Demonstrate punctuality and good work habits

Follow instructions and maintain quality standards

Work cooperatively with team members

Meet physical requirements (lifting, bending, manual dexterity)

Perform equipment inspections

Understand basic molding terminology

Follow Steeltech part numbering system

Step B:

Master all Step C requirements

Read and follow molding specifications

Perform mold finishing/repair (burning, painting, core setting)

Step A:

Master all Step B requirements

Operate lift truck throughout facility

Train new employees

Cover reclaimer operator duties

Monitor mold wash viscosity

Produce no-bake cores

Advancement requires:

90 days minimum at current level

Demonstrated proficiency

Good attendance record
