OBJECTIVE:

THE DESIGNER/SALES ASSOCIATE WILL WORK WITH FELLOW TEAM MEMBERS TO ACHIEVE SALES TARGETS AS OUTLINED BY STORE MANAGER.

• KEY TASKS:

• Take ownership of sales targets and achieve them. This position may initially float between stores as needed.

• Assist customers in their selection process, by recommending furniture and accessories that suit their specific needs and taste.

• Complete in-home consultations with customers.

• Assist in the day-to-day store operation, including the cleaning and organization of the store, products and filing system.

• Assist with administrative functions pertaining to order processing and vendor invoicing.

• Complete sales transactions through the Point-of-Sale system as outlined in the sales process manual.

• Assist in the management of inventory by placing, receiving and storage of product orders.

• Assist in store merchandising through effective product placement and maintenance.

• Encourage customer retention by providing excellent customer care and follow-up.

• Assist with the shipping, tracking and claim process for customer orders.

• Attend team meetings and events as requested by Store Manager.

• Follow up and maintain records for customer inquiries.

• Research and make recommendations for new product items in assigned product department.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Sales/Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
