    Classification: Non-Exempt Reports to: Store Manager

    Summary The inside salesperson position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and interacting with new and existing customers to increase sales of products and/or services. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for Sales Support for the Outside Sales Team, Retail Store, and Quotes, and assists in meeting the established goals and operating procedures of the Company.

    1. Contact new and existing customers through, but not limited to, phone calls, and emails, to communicate opportunities to extend initiatives with the company.
    2. Prospects, qualifies and generates sales within the company’s existing customers.
    3. Match services to customers' requirements and close contracts for defined services.
    4. Respond to requests for information from customers for information and give presentations.
    5. Engages in technical discussions with potential clients through demonstrations and presentations.
    6. Remains knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments in all products offered by the company.
    7. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
    8. The ability to frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.

    Duties and responsibilities • Retail Store processes including cashier transactions, customer service, and follow-up calls to customers. • Executing sales programs for either some or all of the company's product line • Execute the developed sales strategies, plans, and advertising or promotional programs. Present product price adjustments to customers as required in a timely manner. • Provide alternative options to accommodate cost, availability, or specifications; sell the complete package through project-related items, cross-selling, up-selling, and promoting sale items. • Meet and exceed monthly sales and margin plans, generate new and repeat sales • Build customer loyalty by assisting in product demonstrations, and providing product and technical information, catalog, literature, and sample requests. Educate customers as needed on industry trends, terminology, product features and benefits, and current product promotions. • Follow a customer contact schedule to ensure proper preparedness for Deliveries. Partner with Delivery Coordinator, and Store Manager to ensure inventory levels support sales volume, non-stock special orders, and backorders are being processed, sold product is pulled, and deliveries are scheduled in a timely manner. Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed. • Understand the importance of safety policies and procedures; identify and correct safety hazards and encourage others to work safely. • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

    Position type/ Expected hours of work This is a full-time position and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

    Travel This position does not require travel

    Work Environment This job operates in a retail store environment.

    Required Education and Experiences Required: High school or equivalent Preferred: High School Diploma Experience: • 2 (two) years of Sales experience preferred, industry and market knowledge preferred.
