Job Description

Four Hands is looking to hire a Product Development Assistant to be responsible for the execution of supportive tasks for the Product Development Department.

​​​​​​IN THIS ROLE

• Partner with Product Development Team to build Product Launch & Concept presentations for internal and external customer use
• Coordinate with Sr Product Developer to track and manage the development of new finishes, including the management of physical finish libraries and swatch coding
• Partner with Warehouse & Marketing Teams to manage the flow of new product into the sample room and coordinate photography
• Coordinate with Product Development Team to review incoming samples for approval
• Work with Merchandising Team to procure product samples for wholesale tradeshows
• Provide a final check of product data prior to launch, ensuring all info is complete and accurate
• Attend Set-up for Wholesale tradeshows, document product quality issues and work with outside labor to have them resolved before show opens

THE IDEAL PERSON

• Bachelor's Degree in related field required
• Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills
• Ability to work independently with little supervision/self-motivated
• Strong problem solving, organization and creative thinking skills
• High attention to detail
• Works with a sense of urgency with the ability to balance competing priorities
• Computer literate with a focus on the Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be willing to travel as needed
