    Job Description

    An Iconic Fashion Brand is looking for an Assistant Product Developer who will bring support, clarity, organization & above all else, personality to their growing team of Product Developers. The ideal person will have the enthusiasm & desire to aid in the execution of all duties necessary to produce manufacture ready products.

     

     

    This is a remote, 6 month (with potential to extend), temp role that will require you to occasionally be onsite at their San Francisco office.

     

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    • Initiate and track fabric testing; reporting results to team
    • Coordinate release and receipt of Color Lab Dips, CAD, Artwork, and H/Ls as it relates to Commercial Sample Yardage
    • Update and maintain and update product data including costing, fabric information and color/pattern, as well as BOM data in PLM
    • Work with Product Integrity team to review and approve testing concessions and waivers
    • Coordinate and execute Product Engineering Review and sealing of the product line for bulk approval
    • Manage Commercial Samples; PO issuance & receipt, review & finalize for bulk release
    • Assist the Garment Developer with Proto Fittings
    • Other duties as required

     

    WHAT YOU’LL HAVE:

    • Bachelor’s degree or a combination related education and work experience
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, manipulating of large amounts of data using various spreadsheet applications
    • Garment production &/or product development experience preferred
    • Dynamic analytical, multitasking, problem solving, and project management skills
    • Expert knowledge & proficiency with MS Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Teams
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross functional teams as needed
    • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
    • Ability to learn new computer programs quickly
