    JOB SUMMARY

    As an employee of the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, you will provide the best in customer service while working as an ambassador for the live performing arts. In addition, you will be cultivating an active interest in the Center as the premier venue for performance art, education programming and as a gathering place for the community.

    Under the supervision of the facility operations manager responsible for the day-to-day repairs of equipment, machinery, painting and facility improvements of the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform minor/major repairs including but not limited to power distributions system, HVAC equipment, lighting systems, electrical systems, fire alarm systems, plumbing, etc.
    • Perform routine/preventative maintenance on all HVAC equipment, ice machines, coolers, freezers, drinking fountains, refrigerators, etc.
    • Track all repairs and maintenance in the Center’s computer maintenance management system (CMMS).
    • Maintain lighting systems throughout the Center including: bulb and ballast replacement, switch and wiring maintenance, installation of replacement and new fixtures as required.
    • Performing safety checks on heating, cooling, ventilating and other mechanical equipment.
    • Comply with the work order system to include interpreting work orders, performing work requests and completing work orders per instructions.
    • Assist with general maintenance in all areas of the Center.
    • May be required to assist with clean functions including but not limited to dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and trash collections and removal.
    • Assist with directing the parking of buses and vehicles as required for safety and security.
    • Complies with all company policies and procedures and adhere to Center standards as described in the Employee Handbook.
    • Perform all duties in accordance with established safety procedures.
    • Performs other job-related duties as requested

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Associates degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent field experience in trades positions. 
    • Five years’ experience in building maintenance or related trade preferred. 
    • Microsoft Office literacy preferred. 
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by production schedule.
    • Must be physically able to perform maintenance tasks to the highest caliber which includes ability to: climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift heavy objects weighing up to 75 lbs., etc.
    • Must be a team player committed to a quality environment.
    • Ability to perform detailed work involving written and numeric data.
    • Computer literacy.

    Wages: This is a part-time position and wages are commensurate with experience.
