    JOB SUMMARY

    You'll be ensuring excellent customer service and safety while providing valet parking services for guests and their vehicles.

    PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure an excellent guest experience as defined by the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center standards.
    • Assist guests in transitioning to and from their vehicle in a welcoming and professional manner and park their vehicle in a designated location.
    • Maintain the highest level of safety with guests and their vehicles.
    • Maintain a safe environment and address concerns appropriately, including but not limited to:
      1. Report driving infractions or incidents
      2. Assist challenging guests
      3. Follow health and safety protocols 
      4. Keep a clean workspace and surrounding area throughout the shift.
    • Communicate with supervisor as needed to maintain an environment conducive to successful valet parking.
    • Record proper vehicle information quickly and efficiently.
    • Obey all City of Appleton traffic laws throughout shift.
    • Provide accessibility assistance to patrons as needed.
    • Assist bartenders as a barback as needed to provide efficient guest service.
    • Ensure storage rooms, bars, catering kitchen, and staff storage are consistently cleaned, organized, and stocked as directed by the supervisor.
    • Communicate using a radio with staff and supervisors in accordance with the Center's standards for radio etiquette.
    • Complete cash handling reports and forms as required.
    • Adhere to the dress code at all times throughout the shift.

    SECONDARY FUNCTIONS

    • Direct guests with confidence throughout the front of house including but not limited to; seating locations, event spaces, restrooms, and ADA services.
    • Actively engage guests to support Center initiatives, including but not limited to seasonal fundraising campaigns.
    • Attend Center trainings and meetings as assigned.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Age 18 or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record required.  
    • Manual transmission driving experience preferred.
    • All employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and will be required to submit proof of vaccination. Medical or religious accommodation requests may be submitted post-offer pre-employment.

    • Able to lift, push, and/or carry at least 30 pounds
    • Able to run to and from designated parking locations and stand for long periods of time
    • Able to work in all types of outdoor weather conditions
