Foxconn is currently seeking an Manufacturing Systems Administrator to support our Operations Technology group. This individual will work in conjunction with the Manufacturing Engineering Team and aid in the continuous operation and improvement of our manufacturing execution system (MES). This is a key position that requires a “hands on” approach for problem diagnosis and resolution on the plant floor for current and future operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Support of PCBA products and SMT production.
• Works cross-functionally with Quality, Production, and Engineering teams.
• Design systems and processes to drive continuous improvement and development of the MES System.
• Support the implementation of manufacturing systems software.
• Lead continuous improvement activities to review existing applications and determine feasibility of new applications prior to development. Monitor changes and enhancements in other systems to take advantage of new features and capabilities.
• Provide knowledge of the data relationships, business requirements and metadata attributed to all enterprise reporting repositories in assigned areas.
• Understanding of electronic hardware, PCB population, SMT process techniques, module assembly and test.
• Support development and adoption of company best practices for software.
• Follow standards for production and design of MES tools per business needs.
• Capable of team-based software development, in addition to individual software development.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS, IDEAL EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science related field.
• Minimum of 2-5 years’ relevant experience.
• Experience in Manufacturing required, Electronics Manufacturing experience (SMT and PCBA preferred).
• Experience working and customizing MES systems, previous MES implementation experience is a plus.
• Diverse coding experience (Front-End, Back-End, Database Systems) preferred.
• Knowledge of software tools necessary to manage projects
• Must be hands-on, self-motivated, and detail oriented.
• Ability to manage aggressive timelines and adapt to change.
• Critical thinking skills with strong business acumen and consideration.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written for sharing ideas with other departments and the customer.
• Proficient computer skills utilizing Office 365: Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Project, PowerPoint
