    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

    The SR. SALES MANAGER is responsible for acquiring new business, leveraging existing industry knowledge and relationships to close profitable revenue opportunities for commercial operations within our business group. D-Group, is a business group within Foxconn, with more than 50,000 employees, a global footprint including China, Taiwan, and over ten other countries, with functions including R&D, sales, manufacturing, supply chain management, products and services extending into IT product manufacturing (computers, printers, printer cartridges, monitors, game consoles, and wireless speakers), industrial PCs, after-sales services, recycling, peer-to-peer digital payment platform, and strategic investments, on behalf of customers to provide an end-to-end, one-stop solution for R&D, manufacturing, sales/marketing, and after-sales services.

    ASSIGNMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The goal is to leverage and deploy the best business development practices of D-Group to win critical customers through the following:

    • Engaging and converting high potential customers. 
    • You are defining and enforcing the right business development processes.
    • You are ensuring the proper system support.
    • You are setting the right capability building to ensure the right skills and mindset.

    This leader will be responsible for managing the sales funnel and ensuring the effective progression of opportunities across the sales cycle.

    DRIVES FOR RESULTS: You will focus your energy on high return and profitable opportunities, executing against the business plan, and adjusting appropriately as the business climate dictates. You are taking the initiative to work independently with a vision of the end state in mind and putting in place tracking mechanisms to support D-Group leadership to drive the right decision-making on crucial business/sales activities. 

    BUSINESS ACUMEN: You will be responsible for identifying, attracting new customers, and opportunities in the marketplace, along with engaging and continuously introducing unique customer invitations and awarded deals. Primary responsibilities will also call for utilizing knowledge of current and future industry trends to position Foxconn D Group as a trusted advisor and critical business partner.

    PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE: You will need to develop a broad understanding of all products offered by Foxconn D Group and effectively articulate the business value of each in ways that resonate with customers. As a subject matter expert of our products, you will be responsible for training and capability building options for continued high-level commercial operations.

    COMMUNICATION: You will need to demonstrate effective communication skills while delivering precise and concise presentations with enthusiasm and passion that reflects the knowledge of business products and services. Communicating professionally and effectively will be needed to lead and facilitate critical discussion/review process to support business development & value stream leaders to drive performance.

    RELATIONSHIPS: Build effective relationships and collaborate with peers, managers, and senior leadership across all Foxconn organizations. 

     

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

    • University degree in technical or business area preferred, such as Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Operations, or Business.
    •  8+ years of experience as
      • Sales or business development at a mid to top tier ODM/OEM company.
      • Sales or business development at a component manufacturer, or procurement at potential client.
    • Expertise in consumer electronics, preferably smart home/building, with strong understanding of products and pain points in manufacturing.
    • Ability to bring in established industry relationships that can lead to new business deals.
    • Able to engage and build long term relationship with senior executives at prospective customers and drive deal conversion.
    • Understand and manage new business development processes from beginning to end, including, but not limited to, the following: Marketing, Lead Generation, Pricing Structures, Presentations, and Close processes.
    • Energetic self-starter with excellent knowledge of the marketplace and business drivers.
    • Skilled in analyzing & evaluating territory dynamics to develop & implement a sales plan.
    • Ability to initiate and lead projects, tracking, and coordinating the necessary activities.
    • Organizational / systems-thinking approach to solving problems through building processes and infrastructure rather than personal intervention.
    • Positive pro-active mindset orientated towards changing the way the organization works.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, etc.), advanced excel skills (solver, etc.) is a plus.
