    Fractal River is a venture studio that helps growth-stage startups scale faster. It does so by providing resources that work hands-on with the startups to drive business results, while at the same time transferring knowledge and building the strategic and operational infrastructure they need to scale.

    We are seeking a Growth Marketing Analyst to join our Houston team. We want someone who has a strong analytical background, with a blend of real-world experience and theory. Someone who likes to blur the lines between strategy and operations, who has a passion for driving growth by adjusting all the levers available to an emerging company, including product, marketing, sales, operations, finance and customer experience. As a Growth Marketing Analyst, you will leverage our library of best practices and work alongside our team to implement optimal processes, tools and metrics, redesigning work and helping startup teams accelerate.

    As a Growth Marketing Analyst, you are a strong multitasker and self-starter, excited about solving new problems and enjoy looking for ways to get businesses to grow faster.     WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Help define and implement growth strategies & metrics working with a high-caliber, cross-functional team
    • Automate sales and marketing operations using MarTech tools such as Hubspot, Salesforce, Marketo, etc. to improve the team's efficiency
    • Dive into data to create dashboards and discover insights that unlock growth possibilities across customers, marketing, sales, product, finance and operations using business intelligence tools.
    • Map and optimize process flows to create compelling customer experiences that accelerate revenue growth: improve activation, conversion, retention, engagement and referral rates.
    • Coordinate projects, activities and tasks to ensure objectives and key results are met
    • Design beautiful training presentations, documentation, and other materials
    • Train teams and individuals to empower them to modify and work with these tools on their own
    • Help identify opportunities, generate innovative solutions, and improve existing product features

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    Our ideal candidate is someone with 2-3 years of working experience in startup or fast-paced environments, with a high tolerance for ambiguity. All in all, we're looking for motivated, highly adaptive people, who have the ability to be cozy in the chaos. If you like optimization problems, operations, and small teams, we want to hear from you.

    Candidates must be adept at data analysis, process improvement, sales and marketing automation tools, dashboards, and very comfortable with technology.

    In addition, ideally you:

    • Work collaboratively but are also able to own a project with little guidance
    • Thrive in an environment with constant and quick iterations
    • Seek out creative solutions to challenging problems
    • Have strong written communication, presentation and consulting skills
    • Are well versed in tools such as Hubspot, Marketo, and/or Salesforce
    • Are able to code in Python (including data analysis libraries) and know SQL
    • Think across disciplines (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Product Development, Operations)
    • Create documents with high-quality visual design and are an Excel wizard
    • Are familiar with front-end web tools, dashboards, and business intelligence software (Chartio, MixPanel, Google Analytics, Tableau, etc.)
    • Like to work in a diverse work environment and are comfortable with non-hierarchical organizations
    • Have a bachelor's degree in computer science or another STEM-related area
    • A background in data science and related tools is very helpful
