Global Diving & Salvage, Inc. (Global) is the largest diving contractor on the West Coast, based out of Seattle, WA, a leading provider of offshore support services, marine construction and infrastructure support services in the United States, and an internationally recognized casualty responder.
The WSMC Response Worker is responsible for maintaining yearly training and certifications to be ready to respond to an occasional call out to an oil spill response or other marine response project in the Grays Harbor or Westport area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:
Oil Spill Response
Small vessel operations
Skimmer operations
Boom and anchor deployment/retrieval
Skilled equipment operations including, but not limited to, pump operations and hand tools
Limited maintenance and vessel repair under MSRC direction
Deployment, retrieval, and processing or sorbent materials
As opposed to NOT having guaranteed work, applicants for WSMC pool have on-call duties for which they will get paid $25/day:
