  • Responsibilities

    As a member of the IT Service and Support Operations team, this position will support over 800 employees by serving as the first point of contact for any technical issues. Issues can be submitted via tickets, phone calls, walk-in visitors, and job site visits, with support being provided through face to face interactions, over the phone, as well as remote access. In addition to providing technical assistance on IT-related issues, the Help Desk Technician will be responsible for computer hardware setup, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance, as well as basic network and server maintenance, as needed

    Required Skills

    • Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft OS and Office products, local and cloud applications, internet browsers and other common applications;
    • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills with Apple products (iPhone and iPads);
    • Basic knowledge of computer setup and connecting peripherals;
    • The ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously;
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
    • Excellent organizational skills and great attention to detail;
    • Ability to explain technical issues in an intuitive way to non-technical end users;

    Required Experience

    • An Associate’s Degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field required, Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred;
    • Certifications on Citrix Administration, Exchange administration, Active Directory, Sonic firewalls and routers, and Cisco preferred;
    • 1 – 3 years’ experience supporting software and hardware required;
    • Intermediate competency with entire Microsoft Office 365 Suite required
