We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and reliable ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER:

• Highly engaged design / construction professional to coordinate, design and produce architectural floor plans, millwork elevations and details
• Integrate strengths with other team members to create a dynamic, engaging and purpose-filled environment
• Participate in and facilitate client presentations and meetings
• Work closely with clients, architects, designers and/or general contractors to develop and understand project scope
• Lead client discussions regarding project scope and DIRTT capabilities
• Conduct site investigations and evaluate existing conditions when applicable
• Create construction and shop drawings utilizing architecturally-related software (AutoCAD, Revit, DIRTT’s ICE software, Bluebeam)
• Coordinate electrical power locations and configurations for plan layout  
• Generate cost quotes through DIRTT’s ICE software and prepare proposals with support of the internal design team
• Research DIRTT’s database to provide product knowledge and cut-sheets when needed
• Attend project and construction meetings
• Manage punch list and deficiency items to client satisfaction
• Maintain proactive path of communication with client and team

Required Skills

• Enthusiasm for technology and interest for learning new software platforms
• Aptitude to read and understand construction drawings (test-fits, schematic design, design development, and construction drawing stages)
• Organizational and multiple tasking skills
• Understanding of basic building codes and ADA guidelines; knowledge of healthcare guidelines a plus
• Ability to proactively manage time and deadlines
• Professional verbal and team communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Willingness to travel on a limited, as-needed basis for training or client meetings
• Positive attitude
• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or related field.
• Proficient with AutoCAD

• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit
