Framatome is seeking a Technical Specialist for our Mill Ridge Road office in Lynchburg, Virginia.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Operates data base management systems to record and track eddy current (ECT) inspection results.  
• Prepares inspection plans and generates reports.  
• Sets up computers, printers, and other peripheral devices.
• Tracks and updates inspection status.  
• Identifies inspection plan discrepancies and generates rerun lists. 
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.  
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot issues that arise with systems, software or processes.
• Works under general supervision.

Required Skills Required Experience

ALL CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY:

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree, plus a minimum of 2 years of related technical experience

THE FOLLOWING MAY BE USED TO DIFFERENTIATE CANDIDATES WHO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION:

• General knowledge of networking fundamentals.
• Proficiency with the Windows 10 and 11 operating system environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office including Word and Excel.
• Experience with databases and database querying: MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, TSQL.
• Experience in scripting with Excel VBA. Program Development experience using Visual C# and/or C++.
• Knowledge of inspection components and common data management systems typically used to manage heat exchanger tube inspections is a plus, though not required.

OUR TOTAL REWARDS PACKAGE

The range of base salary for the position is between $29 - $37 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
