Beck Manufacturing, a division of ASC-Engineered Solutions is accepting applications for a 2nd shift General Laborer for the Greencastle Facility.

Location:  BECK Manufacturing, Greencastle PA

2nd Shift: Monday through Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Rate:  $15.25 per hour

The purpose of the General Laborer is to assist in maintaining the facility in a clean and organized manner.

The General Laborer will perform a variety of duties to include, but not limited to, Cleaning and scraping of floors and aisle; Prepare and clean-up work areas for maintenance mechanics; Assist Maintenance Mechanics as needed; Clean out machine bottoms; Clean shop office, lunch/cafeteria room, and bathrooms; Coordinate recycling program and empty recycling containers and trash cans; Operate forklift(s); Paint as needed; Pick up parts from outside sources as needed; Follow verbal and/or written orders of the supervisor and/or manager; and transport employees to health care facility as requested.

• Requires a valid driver’s license and passing an operator’s driving test, and a forklift driving test
• Required to be self sufficient and highly motivated
• Constant standing and walking throughout assigned shift
• Requires reaching at shoulder level
• Requires twisting, pushing, pulling, stooping, bending and climbing
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds several times a day
• Requires use of both hands throughout assigned shift
• Be alert to environment and surroundings, and constant alertness to safety concerns
