    Sr Product Specialist Overview

    The Product Specialist role requires people with design backgrounds who can also communicate and empathize with teams building their own product using Framer. This role appeals to:

    What you'll do 

    HELP WORLD CLASS DESIGN TEAMS BUILD BETTER PRODUCTS. Work closely with some of our top customers. Run technical workshops, create guides, build example projects, and host webinars with the goal of making these design teams better. BE THE EYES AND EARS OF OUR PRODUCT TEAM. Maintain strong product pulse with our community and be their advocate with our product team. Set user expectations appropriately and as proactively as possible. Partner with product in building new features and solving problems for users. CUSTOMER ENABLEMENT. Motivate and mentor design teams. Champion early adopters. Understand their workflow and design solutions to improve. Be resourceful. Leverage product team and partners as needed to build. SHOWCASE WHAT IS POSSIBLE. Build compelling demos. Present at top customers. Speak at events and meetups. Inspire teams to embrace interactive design. Help teams understand the value in using prototypes for user research. BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN DEVS & DESIGNERS. Assist on technical projects with teams of developers and, at the same time, be able to make that work digestible for non-technical design teams.

    Your background

    • Experience
      • 3+ years of product design, software engineering, or developer relations experience 
      • Proven understanding of design tools and systems
      • Experience operating within cross-functional teams (product, engineering, design, and marketing); natural bridge-builder and conflict defuser
    • Skills
      • JavaScript skills (React expertise a bonus)
      • Excellent communication skills; you can explain a complex issue in such a way that most people could understand
      • Comfortable presenting and speaking in front of large groups
