Job Summary
FranchiCzar is seeking an experienced Senior Level Graphic Designer/Production Artist to join our team in Pearland, TX (Houston). The compensation is competitive and will include benefits, 401k, and unlimited PTO.
From concept through distribution, you will develop and create innovative and compelling motion graphics, 3D animation, video content, and graphic design to advance our company’s objectives. You will also help grow all brands under FranchiCzar’s portfolio.
Key Qualifications
5+ year of experience in a design company, advertising agency, or in-house creative environment.
Broad background in art direction, design, and copy that spans digital, illustration, and video work, and the ability to confidently create, evaluate, and redirect when necessary. In-depth knowledge of all steps required in the creative development process.
Create storyboards, video graphics, animation, and edit videos for a variety of projects.
Excellent skills with Mac/PC-based design software, which will be used in the design and creative production process. Including, but not limited to, Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, Audition, Da Vinci Resolve, Squeeze, expertise in Cinema 4D and related modules, etc.
Professional experience with motion graphics, typography, design, and 2D/3D animation.
Familiarity with all screen resolutions, frame rates, pixel aspect ratios, etc.
Work closely with producers and directors to incorporate design assets into motion graphics.
Ability to translate concepts, scripts, and storyboards into stunning visual animations, programs, and videos.
The applicant must be able to manage time, prioritize, and complete tasks.

Duties will include brainstorming creative ideas with project teams, developing visual concepts, and collaborating with developers to successfully integrate their graphic designs.
Must be able to prioritize client objectives.
Effectively scale design solutions in accordance with project constraints and parameters.
Expert ability to develop well-conceived innovative creative work that implements the strategy to achieve the objectives.
Must possess conceptual and problem-solving skills, excellent design skills accompanied by the ability to guide and evaluate, and if necessary, redirect creative development.
Ability to communicate effectively with creative and project management staff.
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
Conceive and design high-quality creative work that elevates the client's brand forward.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professional quality in all work and meeting deadlines.
Work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Occasionally assist with video shoots in the field as a grip, audio assistance, etc.
Set up sliders, dollies, tripods, and any other equipment, as well as adjusting cameras, audio and lighting if necessary, during filming.
Store and maintain equipment in between shoots.
Gather and evaluate requirements.
Plan, test and implement new designs, as well as optimize existing designs.
Education & Certifications
BS in Graphic Design & Media or similar/career experience.
