    Job Title: Franchise Business Coach

    Department: Operations

    Reports To: Director of Operations

    FLSA Status: Exempt

    Travel: 75%

    The Franchise Business Coach supports Area Developers (AD’s) in operational, marketing and financial analysis, as well as providing coaching and support for KidStrong Centers. The Franchise Business Coach supports AD goals and priorities by guiding them through our brand standards and best practices. They assist with an annual business plan, and work throughout the year to reach success. The FBC provides sound marketing and business planning advice through regularly scheduled review calls, triage coaching calls, and on-site visits. Frequent overnight and out of town travel is required to ensure adequate coaching and presence for the designated territory.

    Key Accountabilities:

    Ensure Center success by establishing relationships and coaching Area Developers to meet and exceed standards

    Coach and Support 25-45 KidStrong Centers per year by coaching, utilizing technology and assessments to drive sales, profitability and cash flow

    Provide sound marketing and business planning advice through regularly scheduled review calls, triage coaching calls as well as on-site visits

    Implement and evaluate compliance with corporate initiatives and brand standards in the franchisee community

    Provide guidance, tools and resources to effectively maintain staffing levels for their business

    Partner with Training Team to ensure training support and materials are efficient

    Provide guidance in the implementation of the business operating software

    Develop detailed agendas for site visits to include pre-work and post-visit goals to be documented in the franchise operations software

    Attend New Center Openings (NCO’s) to provide support and guidance to ensure smooth operational opening

    Conduct in-person site visits with AD partners to include hands-on marketing activities, center performance evaluations, financial performance coaching and compliance related inspections

    Work with Finance to assist with collecting any payments and required documentation and certifications owed KidStrong, Inc. by the Area Developer

    Consult based performance and challenges gathered through coaching calls visits

    This position requires travel throughout the year with multiple overnight stays

    Job Requirements:

    Prior franchise experience required; prior franchisee experience is a plus.

    Ability to remain calm under pressure, build relationships and consensus, influence for good, and solve problems

    Google Workspace highly preferred

    Enthusiasm for travel to support Area Developers, a valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record, priority will be given to DFW based candidates

    Required in office attendance when not traveling

    Candidates must have prior experience supporting franchisees in a B2B concept

    Must have/develop thorough understanding of managing all aspects of a KidStrong center

    Financial Analysis (i.e. balance sheet, income statement analysis, operating ratios)

    Sales and Marketing (i.e. Outside sales skills, E-marketing, digital, and database)

    Support Site resources (i.e training, business development, production)

    Able to learn systems and train and assist Area Developers as needed

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but will be mentoring so communication and interpersonal skills are important.

    Sphere of Interaction

    This position will work closely with Area Developers, Operations, Marketing, and various members of the HQ team on a day-to-day basis.
