Customer Service Representative
Under moderate supervision and following standard procedures with some independent judgment, responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
a. Supports policy holders by responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification
b. Communicates verbally, in writing, and electronically with customers and vendors
c. Keeps records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
a. Reviews applications and binds coverage for customers quoted
b. Solicits sale of new or additional services or products.
Verifies accuracy and coverage adequacy of policies. Requests changes to correct errors and follows up.
Processes policy changes such as address changes, vehicle additions, or coverage changes.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills Required Experience
One to two years related experience and/or training; or one year certificate from college/technical school; or equivalent combination of education and related experience/training.
A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
