As an Enterprise Computing Technology Apprentice you will be on the cutting edge of IBM/Z mainframe technology. Many business-critical systems in the world economy depend on data that resides on the mainframe and many companies are searching to find employees who are dedicated to supporting this technology.

We have worked with large financial institutions across the country who have hired apprentices from our program who had no prior IT experience. This is the perfect ground floor opportunity for the tech minded candidate looking for a career without taking on the debt of college classes or trade schools.
This is a unique opportunity to access free training and develop the skills needed to perform as an Application Developer or System Administrator on the IBM Z®, and will put you on the path to an in-demand career. We'll provide you with access to a free, online, self-directed pre-apprenticeship program. Upon successful completion of this pre-apprenticeship training course (approximately 110 hours), qualified applicants will be selected for in-person interviews for one of our immediate vacancies with a top Fortune 500 company in your area.
As an apprentice you will receive technical training via remote learning during work hours, on the job training from your assigned mentor and professional development training provided by your Franklin Success Coach. All to help you master the skills needed for Enterprise Computing.
During the apprenticeship duration, you will earn digital credentials in IBM Mainframe System Administration or Application Developer. These specific learning credentials and on the job training requirements will ensure you are developing the skills and competencies essential to these roles. You will be able to learn and grow at your own pace, but we expect most apprentices will complete their learning within 12 months.
NO EXPERIENCE OR EDUCATION REQUIRED; JUST A DESIRE TO LEARN AND BE DEDICATED TO A TECHNOLOGY CAREER.
