    JOB SUMMARY Responsible for processing, administrating and closing of loans. Assists loan officers with activities concerning new and refinanced loans. Answers customer inquiries and resolves routine questions. Performs other assignments or duties as required.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Adopt the Mission, support the Vision and demonstrate the Values of the organization • Address customers with professionalism and courtesy • Resolves issues working with customers and other bank employees • Regular and punctual attendance • Complete work and meet deadlines as scheduled • Provides timely and accurate responses to Loan Operation and Compliance inquiries to correctly record the loan • Understands and follows regulations regarding loan process • Accurately prepares and processes loan files using processing system

    SECONDARY FUNCTIONS • Assists others in Loan Department as needed • Performs other duties when needed

    COMPETENCIES • Communication skills encompassing both verbal and written • Consistently practice customer service skills that strengthen and maintain business relationships • Problem solving and critical thinking skills • Organization, prioritization and time management skills • Proficient in technologies and adaptable to change • Report preparation as required. • Mortgage Loan Processors need working knowledge of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac requirements, as well as all mortgage regulations • Commercial and/or AG Loan Processors need working knowledge of commercial and/or AG lending regulations

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS • Experience in Loan Department or banking field for no less than 3 months preferred • Math skills meeting or exceeding 12th grade, college level preferred • Mortgage Processors must obtain or possess a NMLS certification

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY • None

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Use of keyboard, phones and office equipment more than 5 hours • Lift up to 3 pounds regularly, up to 15 pounds occasionally • Sit for more than 3 hours

    SECURITY RESPONSIBILITY • Maintain confidentiality of customer and proprietary bank information • It is the responsibility of all employees to be aware, observe, record and take appropriate action regarding safety and security • Employees are expected to follow policies and procedures, in addition to cooperating in investigations.
