    What You’ll Do

    We are looking for our next amazing Business Development professional who is passionate about delivering results, an expert innovator, who is experienced in developing and executing an account strategy in alignment with the organization’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate has the skills required – from day one- to own, manage, and grow an account; including responsibility for the Account’s P&L, Sales, Pipeline, Client Satisfaction and Employee Engagement metrics.

    You will provide leadership and support for project teams, serve as a trusted leader project management execution, financial and risk management, and client satisfaction within your account, as well as creating a culture of high employee engagement and supporting the ongoing growth and development of our Client Experience Managers and Impact Consultants.

    Account Directors are responsible for achieving sales and revenue goals within their account and will be incentivized to continually seek out and cultivate opportunities in support of organizational growth and success. This role has the flexibility to work remotely in the DMV area but must have the ability to commute to and work from the corporate office in Arlington, VA and client sites, as needed.

    What You Need To Do the Job

    • 7+ years of Federal consulting experience supporting the Department of Defense and/or Intelligence Community, including 3+ years in a Director role, or equivalent role in which the candidate was the primary person responsible for the business unit P&L, talent, clients, and alignment with corporate strategy
    • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales and capture within the Federal government, including:
      • Demonstrated experience leading a business unit from sales to client operations, including project initiation and client management
    • Developing of a Federal sales pipeline to include new opportunities, capture strategies, and demonstrated success in gaining awards, and growing revenue, focused on multiple opportunities in the $20 million range or larger
    • 3+ years of experience with human capital or strategy consulting
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions
    • Skill to manage budgets, resources and relationships to achieve organizational objectives, as well as plan, develop and execute plans to ensure timely completion of projects
    • Possess strong understanding of Federal government procurement requirements (Federal Acquisition Regulations, GSA Schedules, GWACs, IDIQs, etc.)
    • Strong proposal management capabilities
    • Support a forward-thinking pricing team with the capability to support all major contract types to include, - Firm Fixed Price, Firm Cost Reimbursable, Time and Materials.
    • Create complex and unique proposal pricing models and conduct cost/price and profitability analyses.
    • Demonstrated skills in all areas of capture, including assessing win probability and value for opportunity targets, capture strategy and planning, building winning teams and solutions, and capture process schedule adherence

    What We Dream of For This Role

    • Experience within the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, the US Intelligence Community, and or the Health Services Community
    • Experience with small business set-aside procurements
    • Familiarity with responding to RFQs and RFPs under GSA Multi-Award Schedules
    • Experience with human capital consulting, strategy development, learning and development, and/or facilitation
    • Able to obtain a Federal security clearance
