THE POSITION: Frasca International has an opening for Computer Graphics Software Engineer. This position is responsible for helping to produce the most realistic simulation possible of the external world environment as viewed from inside a simulated aircraft cockpit.

Main job responsibilities:

• Maintain current and legacy simulator image generator code
• Maintain display system warping and blending code
• Design and maintain engineering software tools
• GLSL Shader development

Minimum qualifications include an understanding of real-time 3D engine design concepts and experience with:

• C++
• C#
• OpenGL
• GLSL Shaders
• MS Visual Studio
• Code Design

Additional experience or familiarity preferred in the following areas:

• SVN, CVS, Git, Perforce
• 3rd party API Integration
• Computer Hardware Troubleshooting
• Virtual/Augmented Reality (VR/AR)
• Networking
• Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Machine Vision

Because of the collaborative and hands-on nature of the work, the duties of this position are performed in our Champaign-Urbana, IL facility. Relocation benefits provided.
