Job Description
Our Front Desk Receptionist is usually the first business contact a person will meet when they walk into our studio. It is important to maintain a cheerful, courteous and professional demeanor at all times. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service, therefore the receptionist is expected to make our clients feel welcome and comfortable by warmly greeting them, offering them drinks, hanging their coat, etc. It is important to be able to multitask gracefully and efficiently. This position entails answering calls, scheduling and confirming lesson appointments, taking payments, managing the studio management program, and filling in when needed to help the studio run smoothly.
It is imperative that our receptionist is always on time/early and reliable!
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Answering incoming calls
Booking lessons for new student callers
Scheduling and confirming lessons
Managing the studio management program, which contains all of the data on our students
Answering clients' and visitors' enquiries about our company and our services and events, etc.
Filing
Record keeping
Managing the studio email account
Taking and recording payments
Cleaning in common areas and keeping the studio tidy throughout the day
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
2-3 years receptionist experience preferred
Computer skills - ideally knowledge of Apple computers
Comfortable working with spreadsheets
Proficient in Google Docs & Sheets
