We are looking for a highly motivated and client-oriented Account Representative to join our team. As an Account Representative, you will be responsible for managing a set of accounts that you earn or are assigned. This is position is a is heavily client-facing, requiring exceptional communication, financial analysis, problem-solving, and strong relationship-building skills. Some Typical Responsibilities : - Manage a portfolio of accounts and provide exceptional customer service by serving as the primary point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction through frequent communication. - Maintain a real-time in-depth understanding of events related to clients' buildings. - Conduct a thorough review of financial reports twice monthly, ensuring accurate general ledger coding and expense breakdowns. - Review rent rolls and collaborate with Accounts Receivable and Leasing departments to manage building vacancies and past due rents, maintaining full coordination with clients. - Monitor portfolio maintenance requests to ensure urgent matters are adequately addressed, and gain insights into recurring issues. - Manage vendor bids received for various jobs and coordinate with owners on the selection process. - Ensure compliance with city ordinances for all accounts, including coordination with Supervisor. - Deliver bi-weekly or monthly reports to ownership regarding building status, residents, and other relevant updates. - Coordinate with property owners on matters such as monthly distributions available, financial statement delivery for their CPAs, insurance brokers, etc. - Communicate relevant management updates to clients in a timely manner. - Deliver monthly reports to upper management, providing a general status on clients, their buildings' projects, and overall financial health. - Fulfill other miscellaneous duties as requested by management. - Review and sign off on bi-weekly HR reports to confirm completion of duties. - Lead the onboarding of new accounts through HR and software, collecting and filing relevant documents. - Occasionally train newly hired Account Representatives Requirements: - Strong customer service and communication skills - Strong Communication With Management - Financial Analytics / Statistical Analysis - Basic Excel skills required - Demonstrate capacity to determine the appropriate timing for engaging in-house legal counsel for assistance with legal drafting, including the composition of legal notices or letters. Compensation is based on accounts under management -- Management has unilateral right to take away accounts without cause (this does NOT include sales compensation)
