We're looking for a creative and results-driven freelance marketing professional to support our business development efforts. You’ll work closely with leadership to create targeted marketing materials, manage digital content, and support proposal and RFP responses. Ideal candidates have experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) space and a strong grasp of marketing strategy, storytelling, and design.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist with proposal development and RFP responses.

· Develop and maintain marketing collateral (brochures, capability statements, project sheets)

· Support email campaigns, newsletters, and client outreach strategies

Qualifications:

· Proven experience in construction or AEC marketing (freelance or in-house)

· Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools

· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

· Knowledge of public or private procurement processes

· Understanding of local Sacramento market and players

· Located in or near Sacramento, CA for occasional in-person meetings/site visits
