We are seeking an experienced Apparel Quality Control Inspector to inspect garment production at factories in Los Angeles and immediately surrounding suburbs. This is a part-time, project-based role with recurring inspection opportunities throughout the year.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-line / during-production inspections (DUPRO), Final Random Inspections (FRI), and Pre-Shipment Inspections (PSI).

Perform 100% inspections when required.

Check measurements against approved specifications and tolerances.

Inspect workmanship, construction, fabric appearance, color consistency, trims, hardware, and labels.

Check for visual defects, stains, damage, packing, and assortment issues.

Classify defects and prepare detailed photographic inspection reports.

Communicate findings and coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Apparel or garment inspection experience.

Knowledge of garment construction, measurements, workmanship, and common defects.

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Clear communication and report-writing skills.

Ability to make independent decisions and maintain a customer-focused approach.

Ability to travel to factories in Los Angeles and nearby suburbs.

Preferred Experience

1–3 years of relevant on-site experience.

Experience with recurring factory inspections and apparel production quality standards.

Familiarity with AQL sampling and defect classification.
