Key Responsibilities:

• Client Management: Build and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers, understanding their needs and preferences.
• Rate Negotiation: Negotiate freight rates with carriers to ensure competitive pricing while maximizing profitability.
• Load Coordination: Manage and track shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery and addressing any issues that arise.
• Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
• Documentation: Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documents, contracts, and invoices.
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve any challenges or delays in the transportation process promptly.
• Database Management: Maintain accurate records of shipments, communications, and financial transactions in our logistics software.
• Sales Activities: Actively seek out new clients through networking, cold calling, and marketing strategies.
