Position Overview
Responsible for freight planning, load assignments, and dispatch workflow management through Oregon-based systems. Richmond candidates are prioritized for hybrid workflow participation, while remote candidates are fully integrated nationwide. Entry-level candidates receive structured training, and experienced professionals manage operational responsibilities independently.
Key Responsibilities
Assign freight loads and track shipment progress
Maintain operational documentation and dispatch logs
Communicate updates, exceptions, or delays to internal teams and drivers
Ensure workflow accuracy and operational compliance
Identify and resolve workflow inefficiencies
Collaborate with Oregon-based management to maintain alignment
Escalate scheduling conflicts or operational issues as needed
Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with computer systems, including dispatch/tracking software
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
Ability to follow structured workflows and procedures
Time management and multitasking skills
Experience optional; full training provided
Work Environment
Hybrid and remote Oregon-based dispatch operations. Richmond candidates may attend hybrid workflow sessions; remote candidates fully supported.
