Position Overview
The Freight Routing & Dispatch Support Specialist will manage routing, shipment tracking, and operational communication across Oregon-based systems. Phoenix candidates may participate in hybrid collaboration sessions; remote candidates are fully integrated nationwide. This role provides structured workflow for entry-level candidates and operational responsibility for experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Assign freight loads and track shipments through dispatch systems
Communicate delivery updates, exceptions, and delays to internal teams
Maintain detailed documentation of all operational activities and logs
Identify potential conflicts or inefficiencies in scheduling and escalate as needed
Collaborate with Oregon-based management for workflow alignment and operational efficiency
Assist with process improvement initiatives for dispatch operations
Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Computer proficiency with dispatch and tracking software
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to follow structured workflows and operational procedures
Time management and multitasking skills
