FreightWaves is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our fast paced engineering team. The ideal candidate has experience in various front end frameworks, storage models, and one or more backend programming languages.
****This position is 100% remote
What you will be doing:
Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
Collaborate with the software engineering team to define feature requirements
Support operations with deployment, debugging production issues and tuning applications
Troubleshoot legacy code
Perform validation and verification testing
Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies
Document your efforts
Participate in technology direction and growth discussions
You will work closely with Design and UX
Collaborate with internal teams and customers to fix and improve products
What you bring to the table:
- Minimum of 2 years software engineering experience
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
- Experience developing mobile applications
- Familiarity with common stacks
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript)
- Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. GoLang, C#, Python)
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (e.g.Vue, React)
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. NoSQL flavors, Relational),
- In-depth knowledge of at least one software language (C#, GoLang, Python, other)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Great attention to detail
- Organizational skills
