FreightWaves is looking for a Media Sales Executive in Training. In this role, you’ll be working closely with the FW Media sales team to help optimize their production by generating new business, while learning how to sell B2B media programs on your own. From prospecting new partners to sitting in on calls, to helping create proposals for Fortune 500 companies -- this person does not need a college degree but needs to be highly motivated. Completing the 6-month training program could provide an opportunity to join the media team in a full-time role.
What you’ll gain:

Experience connecting directly with clients and managing relationships with senior marketers
The ability to put together a custom media campaign strategy that hits the mark of any client
What you will be doing:
During the 6 month training program, trainees will have the opportunity to move the company forward and make an impact on the bottom-line. The FW Media team will provide opportunities designed to challenge one’s problem-solving skills to think creatively. You will have the ability to provide solutions to improve the current workflow. This program is for the person who is hungry for more and looking for an unmatched experience to set them up for success in life.
Here are some of the other key responsibilities you’ll tackle:
Help managing the inventory of FreightWaves digital media offerings (FreightWaves.com & AmericanShipper.com advertising, sponsorships and custom content) to achieve maximum fill rates and revenue impact
Assist AEs in the sales of the Digital Media products listed above
Generate new leads and sales opportunities for AE’s
Help create new prospecting ideas
Get experience with Salesforces and Hubspot software
Help create and develop new business proposals
