Our law firm has a full-time Mandarin-speaking associate attorney position available now and we’re looking for the right professional to join our team. You will have the opportunity to learn from senior associates and litigation associates. You'll be responsible for assisting the senior attorney on the team with all aspects of litigation. This includes but is not limited to drafting and/or reviewing pleadings, drafting and/or reviewing motion papers, conducting plaintiff's depositions, client communication, etc. You’ll also be responsible for performing legal research and working with the team's paralegal to keep client files up to date. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with clients and senior associates and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently • Review client issues on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently work to determine the best course of action • Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice Qualifications: • Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school • Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients • Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association) • Willingness to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base • Candidates must have passed the bar exam • Mandarin Speaking • Fluent English required Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000
