French Connection Staffing is currently hiring an English School Teacher to work at a private school with multiple locations in NJ in the Englwood, NJ , Hoboken and Jersey City area. The school welcomes children from Pk2 to 8th grade.

Students learn in the context of a bilingual French-English program therefore the English teacher must be able to work in close collaboration with French teachers.

The successful candidate will teach English Language Arts, Social Studies, Math and Science. S/he may be responsible for English language instruction in more than one grade level.

Ideally, s/he will have extensive elementary school experience as well as experience in an international or bilingual school environment.

We are looking for a teacher who: ● Is interested in working in a bilingual French/English setting ● Has experience teaching elementary grades, 2 years minimum ● Has training in Education with a bachelor's degree or higher ● Has training/background in English/ ELA and Math ● Has strong writing and speaking skills in English ● Has a student-centered approach ● Adapts teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests ● Create a nurturing and safe classroom community ● Is innovative and technology-savvy ● Enjoys collaborating on curriculum and project-based learning ● Is adaptable, flexible, and creative ● Is willing to teach several different grades ● Has a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion ● Proficiency in French is a plus
