We deliver secure, high-quality language solutions in 80+ spoken and signed languages for USCIS and other federal agencies.

    We are seeking French Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to join our USCIS contract team. This role involves delivering real-time telephonic interpretation between French and English in immigration and government proceedings.

    Responsibilities

    Provide accurate and impartial French ↔ English interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings.

    Maintain confidentiality and adhere to USCIS/DHS compliance standards.

    Manage both scheduled assignments and urgent interpretation requests.

    Support quality control processes by participating in training and performance reviews.

    Deliver services with professionalism and cultural sensitivity.

    Qualifications

    Native or near-native fluency in French and English (African dialects of French such as Congolese, Ivorian, and Haitian Creole familiarity is a plus).

    2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, healthcare, or federal agency preferred).

    Familiarity with interpreter ethics and standards (NCIHC, ATA, or RID).

    Strong telephone communication skills; ability to remain accurate under pressure.

    Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 clearance.
