    Job Description

    The community engagement intern understands the importance of building digital relationships, keeping the conversation going, resolving issues, and designing exciting content that encourages engagement and click through. You will work alongside our community engagement team in executing campaigns that drive excitement, inspiration and demand of our industry leading brands. You are familiar with social media trends and love creating content with the goal of it going viral. You enjoy collaborating with marketing leadership and are a contributing member of the community engagement team working together to execute plans according to predefined strategies. Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Create exciting content and posts for our Diablo and Freud Tools’ social channels, which may include a combination of UGC and company created content (UGC, images, video, promotions and written).
    • Engage with community on social media posts, product samples and fulfillment.
    • Grow company Knowledge Base and best practices/FAQ documents
    • Campaign support
    • Perform research across all social platforms to support marketing goals/objectives (product reviews and Q&A, social comments/posts, end-user, competitive, new product launches, overall brand presence)
    • Other tasks as needed to support growth of communications/community engagement team

    _ This internship will be 40 hours a week (with some flexibility) from May 28th to August 9th. This role is not remote._

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Current university student in good standing (min. 3.0 GPA); pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in communications, public relations, or related field of study
    • Able and willing to work on-site
    • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) and how each platform can be used in different scenarios
    • The ability to keep abreast of content and consumer trends and advancements in social media
    • Experience pitching ideas and story lines
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills
    • Excellent computer skills with MS Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
