CONTENT SPECIALIST - JOB DESCRIPTION

Friendemic is looking to hire a full-time Content Writer and Quality Control/Editor who has native level fluency in French. We are especially looking for someone who has experience with French Canadian, but that is not a must have to apply for this position. Utilization of French language will mostly be reading and writing, not speaking. This role is not exclusively to write and edit French language content. The majority of the content you will write and edit will be in English, but there will be a consistent flow of French related tasks. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the cutting edge of social media working while having fun at a small company like Friendemic. 

As a Content Specialist, you will be organized and efficient and complete tasks on time in an orderly fashion. Our Content Specialists must be creative thinkers who move quick on their feet, and quicker on a keyboard. In order to be an effective Content Specialist, you must actively participate in the social media channels that you will be representing for your clients on a personal level. You must also strive for perfection and constantly be on the lookout for ways that you can better your content — social media is always changing, and that means your strategy must also be constantly in motion!

• Prior knowledge/experience working with motorsport brands

• Able to learn and work with various internal platforms

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Write social media posts for clients while adhering to best practices and client requests

• Regularly work with the fulfillment teams to make sure content is creative and fulfilling client needs

• Edit all social media content for clients

• Final check scheduled posts for 100% accuracy before publishing

• Review and publish client submitted content that is error-free to social media networks, both natively & using our dedicated platform

• Edit and translate English language documents into French

Our team is fun and tight-knit. We believe in learning on the job - as long as you’re willing to learn and can teach yourself, you’ll succeed and grow with us! Position is remote. Salary is $30,000-$32,000 DOE. Monday-Friday, 9-5pm PST.
