The Restaurant Server is Responsible and Accountable for: Providing guests with amazing food and premium ice cream. Bringing the magic of our homemade ice cream to every guest through the creation. of artistic quality, perfectly portioned ice cream treats. Delivering the best in class hospitality and service. Learning our menu items and ice cream flavors to provide guest with first hand knowledge of product details. Offering a sincere, personal welcome to every guest entering the restaurant. Greeting guests, answering questions, and making suggestions regarding food, ice cream and service. Relays orders to service bar and kitchen through the (POS) point-of-sale computerized register system. Anticipating the guest's needs and react before they need to ask. Presenting guests check to the table and accepts a payment. Completes the proper check out procedure. Participating in the cleaning and resetting of dining room tables. Ability to wipe down table tops, pick up debris off the floor and wipe down booth seats. Making products as fast as possible with precision and fantastic eye appearance- each one a work of art! Expediting orders from the window to the dining room. Coordinating all online orders to insure they are complete and modifiers are correctly done. Making each guest feel important and special, especially kids! Looking for ways to go above and beyond for your guests and coworkers. Be the final quality control checkpoint- be proud of everything. Have impeccably neat uniforms, tables and welcome areas that are always set and ready to go. Offer a sincere, personal welcome to every guest entering the restaurant. Smile and make eye contact. Other Duties as needed. Requirements: Must be capable of performing all functions and meeting all qualifications standards for all hourly positions. Must have excellent people skills. Mobility and the ability to walk and stand during an entire shift or extended period of time. Must know safety information regarding all materials used within the scope of work. Basic math and verbal communication skills required. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Must be able to hear well amongst loud background noise. Must be able to perform all job functions safely. Must meet the company performance standards for the job. Must participate in company orientation and training. Must be able to follow instructions. Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position. Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform the job.
