    The Entry-Level Manufacturing role is a position that is responsible for general labor in and around the manufacturing plant, mostly in the Packaging Department. In this role you could be responsible for tasks such as: loading/operating case erectors, operating a walk-behind PIT, baling cardboard, hand-packing cases of product into pallets, quality inspection of product, general housekeeping, supporting product changes in the Packaging Department, and other duties as assigned. The weekly working hours are generally 40+ hours per week, to usually include working off-shift (2nd shift 3p-11p, 3rd Shift 11p-7a) and weekend days. Holiday work is required. Individual employee schedules are determined upon completion of initial job training through the site's local job-bidding process. Our work environment requires all employees to wear Personal Protective Equipment to include: hearing protection, safety glasses, steel-toed non-slip shoes, gloves as necessary, and occasionally high-visibility clothing. Working in our food manufacturing facility requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices such as: no jewelry, no nail polish/fake nails/fake eyelashes, always wearing hairnets and beard-nets, etc. All employees are required to adhere to the uniform policy, which includes: no cargo pants/shorts, no hooded sweatshirts, no pockets above the waist, etc. Minimum Requirements: - All applicants must be 18 years of age or older - The individual must have the ability to lift 70 pounds safely, be capable of standing, bending, and lifting for up to 12 hours per day, see (near acuity and far acuity), climb stairs often, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
