Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and sales-driven Front Desk Gym Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our members and guests. This role combines excellent customer service with membership sales, administrative support, and facility operations to ensure a welcoming and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Customer Service
Greet members and guests warmly upon arrival
Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries professionally
Check members in and verify memberships
Schedule personal training sessions and classes
Handle guest passes and visitor registrations
Maintain a clean, organized front desk area
Sales & Membership
Promote and sell gym memberships and packages
Conduct facility tours for prospective members
Explain pricing, benefits, and promotions
Follow up with leads and inquiries
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets
Upsell personal training, classes, and retail items
Administrative Duties
Process payments, renewals, and cancellations
Maintain accurate member records
Manage daily cash and credit transactions
Prepare basic reports as needed
Assist with inventory and retail display
Facility Support
Monitor lobby and common areas for cleanliness and safety
Enforce gym policies and procedures
Report maintenance issues to management
Support staff and management as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Previous customer service or sales experience (preferred)
Experience in fitness, hospitality, or retail is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working with sales targets
Basic computer and POS system skills
