The Front Desk Agent is responsible for being the first point of contact as well as the first impression with guests, handling all stages of a guest’s stay, which can include multitasking, and performing the following duties in a manner that reflects our hotel’s vision, mission, and core values. Responsibilities: • Operate the hotel switchboard, answer inquiries, and transfer calls as needed. • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address and resolve guest concerns promptly. • Take reservations over the telephone, through emails and in person, including groups • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs appropriately • Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, dining, and travel directions. Qualifications: • Strong customer service skills with a guest-focused approach. • Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed. • Proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Compensation: $14.50 hourly
