    Job Overview: At Hyatt Centric South Beach we are seeking a friendly, motivated, and organized Front Desk Agent to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and enhancing our guests' experience. Your responsibilities will include checking guests in and out, managing reservations, and assisting with inquiries to ensure a memorable stay.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Greet and welcome guests upon arrival and provide assistance with check-in and check-out processes.
    - Handle guest reservations, including modifications and cancellations, through various channels (phone, email, and online platforms).
    - Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, addressing any concerns to ensure guest satisfaction.
    - Maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring all materials and equipment are stocked and in good condition.
    - Process payments, manage cash handling, and ensure accurate billing for all guests.
    - Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest needs are met and that guest rooms are prepared appropriately.
    - Provide local area information and recommendations for dining, entertainment, and attractions as needed.
    - Assist in special projects and administrative tasks as required by hotel management.
    - Uphold hotel policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

    Qualifications:

    - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or related fields is a plus.
    - Previous experience in a guest service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
    - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
    - Proficient in computer systems and hotel management software; familiarity with Opera system is preferred.
    - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

    - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
