Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing front desk operations during overnight hours, assisting guests, balancing daily financial transactions, and preparing end-of-day reports to ensure smooth hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and overnight requests
Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries professionally
Process reservations, cancellations, and room changes
Balance and reconcile daily financial transactions and reports
Run nightly audit procedures and prepare accounting summaries
Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly
Maintain security and safety procedures during overnight hours
Ensure lobby and front desk areas remain clean and organized
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams as needed
Prepare reports for management and morning staff
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred
Experience with hotel property management systems is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to work independently overnight
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Reliable attendance and punctuality required
Preferred Skills
Experience with Hilton systems such as PEP
Cash handling and accounting experience
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
