The Front Desk Agent is responsible for being the first point of contact as well as the first impression with guests, handling all stages of a guest’s stay, which can include multitasking, and performing the following duties in a manner that reflects our hotel’s vision, mission, and core values. Responsibilities: • Balance cash at the end of the shift and generate accounting reports for the benefit of the next shift • Take reservations in person, via email, or over the phone, including group bookings. • Operate hotel switchboard, take calls and provide information and transfer calls • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs appropriately • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address and resolve guest concerns promptly. Qualifications: • Strong customer service skills with a guest-focused approach. • Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required—we welcome applicants at all experience levels. • Proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed. • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
