    Job Summary

    Essentials Beauty & Day Spa is seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Front Desk Assistant to be the first point of contact for our clients. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere while efficiently handling administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a customer service mindset, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced spa environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Client Assistance

    Greet and welcome clients upon them entering the salon

    Check clients in for their appointment

    Offer refreshments and ensure client comfort

    Address client concerns or direct them to the appropriate team member.

    2. Administrative Duties
    Schedule and confirm appointment with salon software
    Follow up with clients from lead/client list
    Answer phone calls and assist with client inquiries
    Support staff with administrative tasks as needed
    Process payments and maintain records

    3. Product Knowledge & Sales
    Learn about salon products, services and memberships
    Assist in retail sales by recommending products to clients
    Assist in membership sales by recommending to clients
    4. Salon Maintenance
    Restock towels, products, and supplies
    Check salon inventory, put in request for items that are needed
    Light cleaning such as dusting product area, wiping down countertops and mirrors
    Maintain clean and organized reception area
    5. Other duties as required
    Qualifications & Skills:
    High school diploma or equivalent
    Cosmetology student or recent graduate (a plus)
    Proficiency in appointment scheduling software and basic computer skills
    Strong customer service skills and interpersonal skills
    Ability to multitask and be organized in a fast-paced environment
    Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude
    Must be punctual, reliable, and have a professional appearance.
