Manhattan Fitness Club is looking for Front Desk Associate for immediate hire. Candidates need to have previous experience:
Prior experience in a reception, office manager, or customer service role preferred
Excellent verbal communication skills and an outgoing personality
Qualifications and personal characteristics:
As a Front Desk Associate you’ll be accountable for opening or closing of the gym together with the rest of team and serving the residents/members.
Your job:
Promote the Complete Body mission through appropriate appearance, words and actions.
Greet and acknowledge every resident who enters and exits the club.
Follow all Front Desk policy and procedures based on company standards and building requirements.
Be aware of all club issues, events or schedule changes and politely communicate them to club members/residents and ensure coworkers are made aware of general status and all unresolved issues.
Answer telephone on first ring in a friendly, professional way, using the standard greeting, answering all questions efficiently or directing them to appropriate person.
Ensure the front desk is neat, with materials stored properly.
Be able to locate the First Aid Kit/AED and staff members in the club who are AED/CPR certified.
Fill out daily shift reports and communication logs.
Maintain and organize work area.
Performs other duties as assigned to meet all club needs.
Successful Front Desk Associate qualifications:
Proven success in customer service field
Fitness background is a plus
Impressive communication and problem-solving skills
Believe in fitness and healthy lifestyle
Reliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, and friendly
